• Golf
  • What makes our golf paradise unique? In addition to being meticulously maintained, our 36 championship holes offer uncrowded playing conditions since Seabrook's courses are not open to the public. This privacy assures residents and resort guests a refreshing pace of play, available replay rounds, and superb service.

Both courses will exceed your expectations in beautiful, undisturbed natural surroundings and challenging, championship play. Private and group instruction and tournament coordination are available from our PGA professionals. Seabrook is a certified member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for golf courses. Seabrook is the first golf facility to receive this recognition in the state of South Carolina and the 75th in the U.S.

The Ocean Winds course, designed by Willard Byrd, has a seaside layout. This 6,761 par 72 course takes you to the Atlantic Ocean where the swirling breezes provide a challenging test of ability.

Our Crooked Oaks course, a 6,746 yard, par 72 course, was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and is a classic links design. Meandering through marsh, forest and moss-hung live oaks, Mr. Jones has rightly called it “one of my best”.

The practice facilities and course variety make Seabrook golf desirable to the most discriminating player.

• Tennis
  • 15 superbly groomed composition courts and an outstanding staff make tennis at Seabrook second to none. Seabrook Tennis is well known for its beautifully maintained facility, excellent instruction, and competitive programs for players at all levels. Indeed, we offer a lot more than court time. Take advantage of lessons and clinics with our tennis pros, weekly round robins with friendly partners, and our game matching service which uses the NTRP system to find players of similar ability. Participate in USTA, city and intramural leagues, and get involved in the many local and regional tournaments that we host.
     
• Equestrian
  • Featuring one of the only beach rides on the East Coast, our full service Equestrian Center caters to riders of all skill levels with guided trail rides, pony rides, and riding lessons. Our 22 acres of spacious pastures and modern facilities are perfect for short-term boarding, and our experienced staff will look after your every need. Seabrook Island is the only island resort in Charleston with a full-service equestrian center.

• Beach Club
  • Whether you want a workout or just a refreshing dip, the pools at Seabrook Island have everything you need. The Beach Club Complex features a junior Olympic size lap pool, a family size pool and a wading pool. The family pool is heated March through November, and the pool decks are open year round. Water aerobics and fun poolside activities are offered daily which make the beach club a wonderful community gathering place.
     
• Health and Fitness
  • With a focus on your well-being, we can help you relieve the stress of everyday life or maintain your workout regimen. Tone up at our fully equipped Fitness Center featuring treadmills, cycle trainers, stair climbers, Cybex modular strength stations, an Olympic bench press and Olympic free weights to work every major muscle group.
